This is to inform you that the welcoming and oath taking ceremony for all registered postgraduate student of Academic Session 2010/2011 will be held on:

Venue : Dewan Tuanku Syed Putra (DTSP)
2. The pledge and signing of Oath Taking is under the directive of the Ministry of Education therefore it is COMPULSORY for all student to attend this ceremony.

3.10 pm : Main procession enters the hall
3.25 pm : Negaraku and Menara Ilmu
: Recital led by the Director of Islamic Centre
: Address by Student Representative, Mr Lim Thean Pheng
: Welcome address by Professor Roshada Hashim
Dean of Institute of Postgraduate Studies
: Introduction of Principle Officers of the University by the Vice Chancellor
: Address by the Vice Chancellor
: Oath taking by Postgraduate Students led by Student Ambassador
: Submission of Students’ Pledges to the Vice Chancellor
4.00 pm : Presentation of appointment letters to the new USM Student Ambassador
: Launching of the corporate Video on the Institute of Postgraduate Studies
